The URN Health Sciences Research Internship is a structured, mentor-guided program designed for Masters, Postgraduate, and early-career researchers. The program provides hands-on training across 8 comprehensive modules with real-world project experience.

3. Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, interns will be able to:

- Perform meta-analysis using RevMan, R, and other statistical software
- Analyze large-scale national health datasets (NFHS, LASI, GBD, DAD)
- Collect primary data using validated tools and ethical frameworks
- Apply biostatistical methods for health research
- Write thesis chapters and publishable manuscripts
- Navigate the peer review and journal submission process
4. Schedule & Attendance
- Working Hours: Flexible online schedule with weekly live sessions (2-3 hrs/week)
- Minimum Attendance: 75% attendance is mandatory for certificate eligibility
- Weekly Submissions: Each module requires a weekly assignment/report submission
- Mentor Sessions: Bi-weekly one-on-one mentoring with assigned supervisor
- Progress Tracking: Track your progress in real-time via the Member Dashboard
5. Assessment & Evaluation
- Module Assessments (60%): Weekly assignments, quizzes, and practical submissions
- Final Project (30%): Thesis chapter / research manuscript / data analysis report
- Participation (10%): Attendance, engagement in discussions, peer support
- Passing Criteria: Minimum 60% overall score to receive the certificate
