Our care guarantees

We listened to what goes wrong with home physiotherapy. Here is what we promise instead.

“The physio came late, or didn’t come at all.” On time, or the session is free Your visit time is confirmed the evening before, with live arrival updates on WhatsApp. If we are more than 20 minutes late without notice, that session costs nothing.
“A different therapist every week.” One physiotherapist for your whole course The same person treats you from assessment to discharge. If they are on leave, the cover physiotherapist reads a written handover, so you never repeat your story.
“Sessions were cut short, or spent on a machine.” Full 45 minutes of real treatment Start and end times are recorded in your session log, which you confirm. Most of the time goes on guided exercise and hands-on care, the treatments with the strongest evidence.
“I prepaid a package and could not get my money back.” Pay per visit, or get unused sessions refunded No lock-in. Pay after each visit if you prefer. Stop a package at any time, and unused sessions are refunded in full within 7 working days.
“We had no idea if it was working.” Progress in numbers, every 6 sessions We repeat recognised tests and share a one-page report. If you are not improving as expected, a senior physiotherapist reviews your plan at no extra cost.
“The price was only given after a sales call.” Prices on this page, and no pressure What you see is what you pay, with travel included within city limits. We never push a bigger package than your assessment supports.
“Nobody spoke to our doctor.” Your doctor stays in the loop We follow your surgeon’s or doctor’s instructions and send them your plan and progress reports. Anything worrying is reported to them the same day.
“We live far away and feel helpless.” Updates for the whole family Children in other cities or abroad get session notes, exercise videos and reports on WhatsApp, and can join any session by video.

Our protocols, in the open

See exactly how we will treat you, phase by phase

Each protocol sets out goals, treatment and the tests we use to measure progress. Your physiotherapist adapts it to you; it is never a one-size routine.

Our clinical standard

Treatment based on evidence, not habit

Utkarsh Research Network specialises in reviewing medical research. We use that expertise to write and update the protocols our physiotherapists follow.

Guideline-based protocolsEach condition has a written protocol based on clinical guidelines, such as NICE and APTA guidance, and systematic reviews of the evidence.
Exercise first, machines only when they helpFor low back pain, for example, NICE advises against TENS, ultrasound and interferential therapy. We follow that, rather than billing for machine time.
Measured outcomesRecognised tests at the start and every 6 sessions: pain scores, range of movement, function scales, balance tests and daily-living independence.
Safety screeningEvery first assessment screens for warning signs that need a doctor, and we refer you promptly if we find any.
Protocols updated yearlyOur research team reviews new evidence every year and updates protocols and therapist training.
Clinical supervisionA senior physiotherapist reviews every plan and progress report, and audits session logs at random.

Physiotherapy questions

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. After the assessment, your physiotherapist gives you an expected number of sessions, and the progress reports show whether you are on track.

What if I want to stop my package?

Tell your care coordinator. Unused sessions are refunded in full within 7 working days, with no cancellation fee.

Will the same physiotherapist come every time?

Yes. If they are ill or on leave, we tell you in advance and the cover physiotherapist follows their written handover. You can ask for a change at any time.

Do you use machines like TENS, IFT or ultrasound?

Only where the evidence shows they add benefit for your condition. Exercise and hands-on treatment come first, because they have the strongest evidence.

Is the MoveCheck self-assessment a diagnosis?

No. It helps you understand what kind of care you may need and checks for warning signs. A physiotherapist confirms everything in person, and refers you to a doctor if needed.

Will you follow my surgeon’s instructions after an operation?

Yes. We follow your surgeon’s post-operative instructions alongside our protocol, and share progress reports with them.

Can bedridden patients have physiotherapy?

Yes. Bedside physiotherapy helps prevent stiffness, chest infections and bedsores, and works towards sitting and standing when possible.

How soon can the first session happen?

Usually within 48 hours of booking, depending on your locality and the speciality you need. We cover Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

How do I know the physiotherapist is genuine?

Before the first visit you receive their name, photo and qualification. They carry an Utkarsh ID card, and you can call us to confirm before letting them in.
