Prof. K.R. Srivathsan, an esteemed Electrical Engineering scholar, boasts a distinguished career marked by numerous accomplishments and leadership roles. He earned his B.E. from NIT Durgapur, excelling as the top graduate, and completed his M.Tech at IIT Kanpur and Ph.D. at Queen University as a Canada Commonwealth Scholar. Prof. Srivathsan served as a faculty member and later as the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur. He was instrumental in founding and coordinating major national projects like ERNET and the National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning. His tenure as the Director of IIITM-Kerala and subsequent elevation to Pro Vice Chancellor of IGNOU highlight his profound impact on technology and education in India. Currently, Prof. Srivathsan is focused on enhancing higher education quality through innovative technology applications and serves as an advisor and mentor for GIET University community initiatives.
